hereornot?
Anonymous mail for the uncertain.
A pseudonymous mailbox. Pick a name like @alice or get a random ID. Send end-to-end encrypted messages and files to anyone on the site. Optional public bio if you want to be findable.
No email required. No phone number. No tracking. The server never sees your plaintext.
how it works
- Pick a pseudonym and password. Your browser generates a keypair; the private key is encrypted with your password before leaving your device.
- Save your 12-word recovery phrase. It's the only way back in if you forget your password.
- Write to anyone on the site. Encryption happens in your browser using their public key.
- Attach files with a chosen expiry, from 1 hour to 30 days.
what's encrypted
- Direct messages — end-to-end. Server is blind.
- Files — end-to-end. Server stores ciphertext.
- Public bio and avatar — not encrypted, since they're visible to everyone. You can hide your profile if you don't want to be found.
- Your pseudonym — public, that's how people reach you.
what we don't do
- No email, phone, or real-name signup.
- No tracking scripts, analytics, or ads.
- No password recovery via email.
- No follower counts, likes, or social graph.
fine print
